Hello :)

I‘m Sophia from Germany. Right now I'm doing my Erasmus semester in Tallinn and since I'm done with uni in the beginning of June I'm eager to explore Estonians countryside!
I‘m a dear nature-lover and outdoorsy person. If I imagined how a perfect day for me would look like, I certainly see myself spending most of the day outsides in nature, working with animals, maybe going for a wild-swim and making a nice dinner from home grown vegetables with family and friends. I joined Workaway because I think it is a very cool way of getting around the world, learning about farming and connecting with people with different cultural backgrounds. I would love to get to know Estonia better and learn more about the way of living on the countyside.

More details about my language interests
I studied French in school for about 6 years but because I was never in a situation, where I actually needded to speak it, I'm still not fluent in French. I would like to change that, since I really love the language. In return I could teach some English or German :)

language skills:
My mother tongue is German and I speak English fluently. I've also studied French for 6 years and am currently starting to learn Swedish on my own.

job experiences:
My first job was one as an athletics coach in my town. I trained younger athletes that were between 8 to 12 years old.
I have also worked as a tutor for pupils a few years below me for several years. I primarily taught English and Math.
Apart from that I've worked in multiple manufactures during the summers. Last year for example I've had a job in a local ice cream manufacture.
The last year I've worked in a bakery where I learned to work with customers one to one.

general skills:
Due to my history with sports I am very enduring when it comes to physical work.
Because my dad was a craftsman i've a little experience with building things.
And I've also helped my mum in the garden every year.
I'd add that my cooking skills are acceptable as well, I've been cooking since I was little.

Since I worked with sheep, horses and some other animals during my first workaway experience, I gained some more knowledge in animal care and useful things around farm work like building fences, etc.

I'm very flexible and can adapt to new tasks pretty quickly. Because I am very energized and easily exitable I find a lot of joy in learning new things and being dedicated to doing so, even if it takes some patience.
