Hi there, future host,

My name is Sohel, I’m in the last year of my twenties and I come from Switzerland. I’ve already had two great Workaway experiences, one in England and one in Italy. This summer, I’d love to start a new adventure — ideally in a place with beautiful nature and warm, open-minded people, where real friendships and unforgettable experiences can grow.

I grew up in Zurich and I’m an experienced chef. I’ve worked in a school and currently work in a sauna right next to Lake Zurich. In September, I’ll begin studying Tourism in Switzerland and will be moving to Ilanz, a beautiful valley in the Alps.

I love languages and speak English and German fluently. I also understand some French and Farsi. For my bachelor’s degree, I chose Spanish as my second language, so it would be amazing to stay with a host where I can learn and practice some Spanish.

As a person, I’m calm, friendly, polite, respectful, reliable — and sometimes funny too. I enjoy helping others and being useful. I can support you in many ways, such as cooking, handiwork, and other daily tasks. I’m confident that I will handle the work needed in a responsible and dedicated way.
