Description
I am living in Bonn, Germany for the year with my partner while he completes his post-doctoral work here. I love growing things, making things, and generally getting my hands dirty. My true passion (and job for the past few years) is working with young people and helping them to develop a love of the outdoors. I'm especially interested in opportunities that would allow me to learn more about building with cob or straw bales, seed saving or seed sovereignty, and of course to practice German (of which I know very little right now). I love to cook and/or sing with people after a hard day of work!

I love knitting and am learning to play the irish flute and pennywhistle. I do yoga in the mornings but am happy to get a chance to do it any time of the day! I am an avid forager and have been enjoying seeing what edible plants that grow in the eastern U.S. also grow here in Germany. You sure do have your share of stinging nettle! Time to make some tea :)
