Recently, I decided to quit my very comfortable, well paid, government job so that I could take a break from the concrete jungle and the 9-5 life and backpack around the world for one year! I am very excited for this opportunity I have created for myself and can't wait to see who I meet and what I do along the way!

I have had many different jobs, volunteer opportunities and life experiences, which will help me become a very agile volunteer. I have worked as a nanny for a family with two small children and a dog, cooking and cleaning and taking care of their family. I have worked in restaurants as a server and as a cook for years in all different kinds of restaurants so I know my way around a kitchen. I have worked and volunteered in dog shelters across the world, walking, feeding, cleaning and loving the animals. I am a quick learner, if there is a job or a task I have to do that I have never done before, I always love the opportunity to be taught and shown. I am a very active person and I love to keep busy. I am also hardworking and very organized and pay attention to detail when I am doing tasks. I love DIY projects, I have done a ton on my own and I am very creative and artistic and love to explore the art of music and nature! I recently got my TEFL certification so I can teach English abroad and I am very excited to see what opportunities come from it!

I love all animals, but dogs will always be at the top of my list! I love to read, hike and adventure and be outside with nature and I just I love learning about different cultures around the world. I fell in love with traveling about 5 years ago and ever since then I have been dreaming about leaving my country and volunteering in all different places across the world!
