I am very interested in learning about languages as they have the power to relate and connect with entirely new groups of people. They give different perspective of the same place. They also make us realize that we humans are not so different, once you can understand what they are saying :) People just are also very appreciative, welcoming when you make an effort to communicate in their language.

I’m a go-getter and always up for any challenge. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Virginia. I spent a year volunteer-teaching large classrooms of children in Peru and Zambia. I speak native English and advanced/intermediate Spanish. I built and launched my own company and web platform for visual artists called Artrepreneur/Artemprendedor, with a mission to empower artists through online entrepreneurship tools. This involved grassroots sales, marketing, and incorporating innovative technologies. From concept to execution, I made sales, recruited artists, organized, and professionally photographed events in Colombia. I practice yoga and plan to become certified soon. I’m artistically inclined and enjoy painting and drawing. I’ve cooked for myself for years, and my friends and family seem to enjoy it! I’m fit, healthy, and athletic. I don’t smoke or drink, though I have no judgment toward those who do. I’m kind, compassionate, and easy to get along with. I’m low-maintenance and resourceful. I love learning and taking on new skills with the “I’m not sure… but let’s figure it out” mentality. I’m reliable, mature, and not someone who looks for shortcuts.
