Description

Hi there! I'm Maciej, a 21-year-old passionate about cinema and photography. I love capturing moments that tell stories and exploring the world to discover new places and immerse myself in different cultures. Traveling is my way of connecting with people and experiencing life from unique perspectives.

I was studying Software Technology Engineering for 1,5 years in Denmark, currently I am on my gap year to see what world has to offer and rediscover myself, because hours spent in front of the screen most of the times during studies made me almost burnt out.
I participated in many projects on the way spending quite a time in places like Morocco, Georgia or Armenia, what motivated me even more toward further travelling and meeting more inspiring people on the way.

One of the things that brings me the most joy is seeing others happy, and I always strive to create a positive and cheerful environment wherever I go. I'm eager to learn, share experiences, and lend a helping hand in any way I can.

Looking forward to connecting and contributing to meaningful projects while making new friends along the way.

While I’m fluent in only two languages (which I wish were more), I’ve picked up bits and pieces of many others along the way. This has sparked my motivation to learn them properly and improve my language skills. I believe that learning and teaching languages are fantastic ways to connect with people and understand their cultures better, and I’d love to engage in this kind of exchange!

I have a solid background in software, having studied software engineering in Denmark for 1.5 years. Alongside my technical knowledge, I'm also passionate about photography and know how to take great pictures that capture special moments.

I’m proud of my strong communication skills, which I’ve honed through participating in various Erasmus+ projects across different countries. These experiences have helped me collaborate with diverse groups of people, adapt to new environments, and bring positive energy to every situation.

I’ve also gained valuable experience from hands-on jobs like working in a zoo, in a warehouse, and restaurant. These roles have taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and being a dependable team member.

I’m always eager to learn, share my skills, and contribute wherever needed!

My biggest passion since childhood is cinema. I used to spend almost every second day at the cinema, which sparked my interest in storytelling and photography.

I’m also a big fan of football and the NBA, and I enjoy following the games whenever I can. Music is an essential part of my life - it adds depth to the everyday and keeps me inspired. I also love spending time in nature, where I can reflect, recharge, and find a sense of calm.

Lastly, I’m a long-time comic book fan and enjoy diving into their unique stories and characters during my free time.
