I maintain a small garden at home and occasionally work on my friend's farm planting and weeding and am willing to get my hands dirty outside. I can help around the home with general cleaning and organization from to my attention to detail and care! This has extended to my own home in my constant improvements from painting my walls to unclogging my drain. Working at a library has deepened my love for books and exchanging with others--I am passionate about information access and ensuring everyone is able to learn more about what interests them!

I enjoy listening to live music, especially jazz and classical piano, and am always trying to find new local artists! I had a lot of fun during this workaway experience together with Reilly, so I must say it was all very positive and we worked a lot together, listening to music and having fun together.
Reilly was less than a week, here at my farm in Gavorrano, but we worked intensively. She even started helping me the very day she arrived. She helped me arrange… read more stones to pave a path.
Also during our time together I built the roof of a small tool house, and she helped me. She also helped me a lot to remove all the weeds from an area near my house, and then to create a new pathway.
Reilly is a very intelligent and sensitive girl, and it is always nice to talk with her. Together we ate typical Italian dishes for dinner, and shared delicious breakfasts.
Music brought us so much together, and we listened to a mix of both of our tastes, which was very pleasant. Besides that she helped me arrange branches after pruning, collect stones, pave a path with stones, and collect wood for making fire in the evening.
Although she is young, she is very intelligent and has an extraordinary culture, especially music, so it is nice to talk with her. She also loves history and philosophy very much, and she is a girl who learns everything very quickly.
The little path she built with stones is perfect, she was very good at doing it almost by herself! In addition, she is a sensitive and bright person. So the workaway experience with Reilly was great, so I recommend this young girl from North Carolina, because besides being very intelligent, she is also a good worker.
Reilly wrote to me to come and do workaway at my farm, so we agreed and she arrived as planned. After a first day of getting to know each other, we got to work. From the second day onwards she was very good and helpful, so she was a very good helper for me. After a few days of hard work, she was kind to meet the needs of this place, and besides being a great help, she is also a nice and intelligent girl, so it was nice to spend a few days with her.
From the third day onwards, we devoted ourselves very seriously to gardening, so these days with Reilly were really fun, exceptional days that combined gardening and pleasure in an exquisite way.
Reilly wrote to me a few weeks before coming, and together we chose the best time. Then she came and adjusted to the dates that worked best for both of us. From the first day we started talking very pleasantly and became great friends, and then we immediately started working together in the garden, so that we could enjoy the sunny days even in the April weather.
We concentrated on cleaning an area of my garden, so we carefully cleaned the garden and then we pruned the trees.
Reilly was really good and very clever and active in helping me, she immediately understood how to use the tools, she carefully cleaned the path, working very hard and always concentrating on the work, and then in the evening we had fun together talking and eating together, quietly. Really Reilly was very good at cleaning up the branches, the leaves, and above all at removing the soil from the ground. Together we also rearranged the log cabin and in a few days the whole area took on a completely different look!
So my workaway experience with Reilly was extremely positive, and I highly recommend this girl who was born in North Carolina, because in addition to being very good and willing, she is also very nice and it is pleasant to spend time in her company.
Reilly is a dynamic and enterprising girl, and she wrote to me in a very nice way on workaway, from which I could immediately understand her positive energy!
Reilly arrived here in Gavorrano quietly, and after a convivial first evening in which we dined together, the next morning we immediately set to work in the garden: she helped me a lot to sort out all the branches that are on the ground after the pruning of the olive trees over the last few months, so she was very good at collecting the branches, dividing them according to size, cutting them, and cleaning up leaves and twigs, collected in small groups.
We also had a lot of fun, and as she loves good food, it was very nice to cook different dishes for her every day, experimenting with new recipes for breakfast and dinner, which she certainly enjoyed :)
In fact, in addition to the passion for good food, with Reilly we also shared the passion for good music!
Finally, I highly recommend this US girl, because in addition to being energetic and nice, she is also very strong and very good at working in the garden, and I really appreciated that from the first day she learned to work independently, setting the alarm clock early, to being able to work in the best hours of this spring.
Thanks again for all your help dear Reilly, and it was a lot of fun!
