Hello! My name is Angela, I'm Italian-Canarian, born in Italy but raised on the volcanic island of Lanzarote. I must say that it's a bit difficult for me to describe myself... What can I tell you in these few lines to give you an idea about me...?

I'm quite outgoing. Wouldn't define myself as a shy person :). I love meeting new people, every time I go somewhere I always make a new friend. I think people are wonderful, and we have a lot to teach each other.
Also love art in all its forms, anything that is made with passion, I find it so inspiring and fulfilling!
I really like cinema, cinema that trusts the spectator and leaves room for interpretation, cinema that makes you think. Also like painting, sculpture, music...

It's my first time at Workaway after a long time thinking I wanted to do it, and here I am finally :).

After a long period of stress, I have taken the courage and finally left my job. I wasn't happy and had stopped enjoying what I was doing, and I wasn't learning, which for me is crucial in a job.

Now my goal is to disconnect from the city and focus on doing all those things I left pending, reconnect with my creativity and learn French.
Why French? Well, it's something I've wanted to do for a long time, and now that I have a new nephew born in France it's the perfect time to practice and communicate with him. I also want to get to know the French culture and get to know it better, I have always found the culture, savoir-faire and revolutionary spirit fascinating.

So here I am looking forward to this new stage :)

I'm a very practical person, if I don't know how to do something, I try to learn it.
So far my professional expertise is connected to communication: copywriting, graphic design, painting, photography, web pages...
Art in all its forms, It's what fulfill me the most.
I also like organising new spaces, interior design and decoration.
But as I said, I'm very practical, I also like to clean up with some music on :)
