  • Description

Hi, I'm Pau, a half British half Spanish workawayer 🙋🏼‍♂️ I'm new to Workaway, but I'm excited to be part of this community. I'm a big sports person and an avid fantasy reader.

I've lived for over a year in Finland and about half a semester in Germany. I'm taking my last steps in graduating as an Electronics Engineer, and in this next chapter of my life I'm looking to spend more time abroad and in the travelling community!

I'm currently starting to learn German, so anywhere with a positive vibe and the ability to continue learning the language is where I want to be. Looking forward to connecting with you :)

  • More details about your skills

As a native English speaker in Spain, I've been teaching English since I was 15 years old! Overall I have mainly taught adults of an A2 to C1 level, though I also had a semester-long job as an extracurricular English teacher for ages 8-9, so I'm comfortable working with children.

Like I mentioned in my description, I'm an Electronic Engineering student, and as any Engineer I love problem solving! DIY is right up my alley, as is any around the house project that needs attention (Always been the designated fix-it-up guy at my shared flats over my studies!).

I was also part of the Directive Board of my local branch of IAESTE - an association dedicated to enabling international internships. Because of this I have some experience in event organizing, social media management and inter-association cooperation.

Adaptability is another skill of mine, I'm very familiar with facing exciting and differing challenges in new environments.
