Description

My name is Pierre and I come from Tours, a small town in France. After living in Paris for 10 years, where I worked as an architect, it was time for me to make a change, so I moved to Canada, where I have been living for two and a half years.

Since I was a child, I have been passionate about history and everything related to historical heritage. It makes me want to discover new things! That's why I have traveled throughout Europe (I'm a big fan of Italy!), but also abroad, particularly to Mexico.

Coming from the countryside, I love being in nature, hiking, camping, biking, and skiing as much as possible! Overall, I'm a fairly quiet person who enjoys good books and crafts, as well as meeting new people and traveling.

Oh, and I also have Vietnamese roots through my late grandfather, so I'm very curious to discover his country of origin.

Experiences :
- Working in a ski equipment rental shop in a village in Quebec, an experience I absolutely loved.
- My first experiences with Workaway involved a lot of weeding, but mainly building a low stone wall and a pool house.
- Scout leader (summer camp for 11-14 years old), having myself being a scout during adolescence
- Participated in architectural festivals (myself being an architect), where the aim was to build a temporary "city", each year with a specific material/theme
- Co-constructed a school in the forest in Ecuador
- Volunteered as a barista during university years
- Worked in a photo studio and a black & white lab as a technician
- Assisted in photography courses

I enjoy team work, I'm meticulous and patient.
