Hello, my name is Oscar and I am from Seattle in the United States! Before traveling, I was working in brain cancer research. I liked my job, but I wanted to see the world and have now been traveling for 8 weeks in Europe! When in a new area or city, I really love to meet new people, both local people and international, and try to get a sense of their way of life and experiences in the world! I am planning on going to SE Asia next, and could not be more excited for the new experiences and areas!
I have worked in many restaurants and hostels in the USA! I have lots of experience with cooking, cleaning, meeting and greeting people and making them feel comfortable, and lots of physical labor. I look forward to meeting and working with you!

I am interested in the local languages in any region! I believe that language can be a gateway into a local culture, so even though I may not be able to become fluent in a local language in a short time, I love to learn small phrases and learn as much as I can! I have worked in many different restaurants and hostels in the USA. In restaurants, I have worked as a cook and a waiter, so I have experience cooking, cleaning, and with the physical labor, and also with greeting people, making them feel comfortable, and serving them.
In hostels, teams are usually small, so I have done everything that needs to be done: cleaning, greeting guests and checking them in, guiding activities, and more.
