  • Description

Hello, we are Maggie and Noelle! What motivates us, mainly, is learning. We both spent our years in university studying environmental sciences, developing our passion for the earth, and all those on it. This experience is not solely to see the world for the sake of it, but to experience different cultures, learn from and share with other people, and become fully immersed in the communities around us. Making new discoveries, trying new things, and learning from the world around us are what make us happiest! If you would have us, we can assure that you will be bringing in two people who are full of curiosity, willingness to learn and work to their fullest extent, and who love to create, share, and laugh with others.

Noelle spent about 9 months on a farm in Vermont as a Conservation Intern, managing invasive species and doing barn chores every morning and night. She has more experience with animals than caring for plants, but still has experience in small scale organic gardening. Noelle also has extensive experience in community outreach through this farm, including engaging social media management. Maggie has less hands on experience in agriculture than Noelle, but she loves and knows a ton about plants, and is very excited to learn. She has spent a little bit of time tending to the plants in her university's organic garden, and knows about covercropping, seed saving, and expert composting. Maggie has spent the last year working for a State Park in New York doing Environmental Education, so any opportunity to educate or do community outreach is welcome! Maggie has experience as a tour guide, building and maintaining trails, removing and monitoring invasive species, and conducting surveys on bird populations and health. We both have extensive experience in customer service, Maggie as a hostess, and Noelle as a server at multiple restaurants. We are both happy to do any wide variety of work. We are both creative thinkers and love to help solve problems through understanding and compassion.

  • What else ...

We love to make art and write, and are very interested in getting to know others, sharing ideas, and inspiring one another! One of our favorite thigns to do together is LAUGH! haha :) laughter and happiness are very important to us, and we want to spread this positivity wherever we go. We often wander into the forest together simply to see what we can find, whether it be a new plant, or even a new creature. We are interested in plants and fungi, especially in foraging them in the wild. We are also interested in homesteading, and learning how to be self sufficient. Ultimately, we love to laugh and spend time with the community around us, in any way we can
