Hi everyone! My name is Natalia (but my friends call me Naty). I’m 25 years old and I’ve just finished five long years of Law School. I’m a very active person—I don’t like staying still. I was born in Chile, but after high school I chose Italy as my home, where I’ve been living on and off for the past six years. This is because I feel like I haven’t found my place in the world yet, so in the meantime, I’ve decided to try out as many as I can.

Over these six years, I’ve lived in Germany as an au pair, spent a year studying in Madrid, and most recently I’ve been splitting my time between Malaga and Bologna.

Right now I’m living in Turin, but I’m already feeling the need for a change of scenery. I prefer experiences that give something back and teach me new ways of seeing the world… and that’s exactly why I signed up for Workaway.

One of my greatest passions is definitely cooking—not only because I love good food, but also because I enjoy cooking (according to my friends, I’m good at it!). I’m used to cooking for large groups; I’ve organized graduation parties for several friends, as well as my own. I often host big dinners either at my place or at friends’ houses.

When it comes to cooking, I also have a passion for creating new things, so I dedicate my free time to making homemade vegan cheeses—I can make both fresh and aged ones!

I also really enjoy being outdoors. As a child, I used to go camping with my family in remote natural spots, so I’m already used to places without all the comforts of city life.

I’d love to help with manual work or gardening. I once took part in a volunteer program where I helped build houses for displaced people. Every summer, I help with gardening and other manual tasks at my grandmother’s house.

I like children a lot, and it seems they like me too! So I’d be happy to keep spending time with them during my experience. I have many years of experience working with kids—I’ve been babysitting since I was 15—so I’m used to organizing all sorts of games and activities to keep them entertained
