Hello! I'm Nalini, a 21-year old spontaneous, easy-going student from Wageningen. I love being outdoors and immersing myself in other cultures, by learning new languages and traditions. Being a workawayer really suits me, since it is the perfect combination of seeing the world while getting to know new people and helping them! Others always compliment me about my positivity, flexibility and enthusiasm, even in hard times, so I think that these characteristics make me a suitable workawayer :)
In my free time I enjoy playing football, hiking, going to a festival every now and then, or just hanging out with my friends, housemates or family. I love being surrounded by people, but I also appreciate some alone time, reading a book or listening to CDs.

I am currently doing my Master's in Aquaculture and Marine Resource Management, learning about and researching everything that happens underwater. Recently I graduated with my Bachelor's in International Land and Water Management, where I retrieved a lot of knowledge on e.g. sustainable farming. Studying at a relatively international university resulted in meeting many amazing people from all over the world, leading to interesting conversations about their experiences.

Besides this, I have a lot of experience with teaching at high schools, my strengths being teaching biology, geography, and languages. This is something I really enjoy!

During summer, I work as an entertainer on campsites, where my main goal is to make sure the kids have the best holiday of their life! This varies from crafting and playing outdoor games to dancing and performing for their parents.
