    About Me
I grew up basically living at a horse stable, helping with anything and everything. Riding was the bonus, but honestly, I was happiest just being surrounded by fields, animals, and the smell of hay.

At 19, I tried the “grown‑up” path and went to university… but two months of city life taught me very quickly that skyscrapers and concrete are not my natural habitat. So I bought a one‑way ticket to Thailand for a “quick” five‑month trip. Spoiler: five months turned into two years and seven countries. I left alone and somehow came home with an American boyfriend.

    What I Love:
    Here’s me in three lines:
    I love animals
    I love people
    I love nature
Add in cooking, reading, hiking, long walks, and swimming in basically any river, lake, or sea I pass… and you’ve got a pretty accurate picture. If there’s water, I’m in it. If there’s a farm, I’m helping. If there are animals, I’m happy.

A Little Note About My Journey:
After returning home from Asia and Australia, I actually decided to take a break from traveling. I thought, “Okay, time for some stability and one single place to call home.” And honestly, I loved building a routine again. My boyfriend and I both went back to school, settled into a rhythm, and enjoyed having our own space for a while.

But… my soul eventually started tapping me on the shoulder again. Turns out, I can make it about a year and a half in one place before I start dreaming of airports and backpacks again.

I’ve done the fast, spontaneous travel -hostels in Asia, van life in Australia- and I loved every chaotic second. But now I’m looking for something a little different. I want meaningful experiences. I want to be part of something. I want to stay in one place long enough to learn routines, connect with people, and contribute in a real way.

    And I’ve realized something important:
Having a purpose or daily task is crucial for me. After months of “doing whatever” in Asia, I discovered that I actually like structure just not the traditional kind. I love waking up knowing I’m helping, learning, and making a difference somewhere.

That’s why I’m so excited for Workaway.

  • More details about your skills

My first jobs were babysitting and serving in a restaurant that hosted many events. I spent about three years there learning how to juggle plates, people, stress, and smiles all at once.

Then came an unexpected chapter: a couple of summer jobs in the metal industry. It taught me discipline, what shift work feels like, and how to hold my own as the only woman in a mostly male environment.

In Australia, I worked on three different farms, which made me fall even more in love with outdoor work, animals, and the “let’s just get it done” attitude. I also worked in a coffee shop there, which gave me more customer service experience and a lifelong weakness for good coffee.

After that, I worked as a receptionist in a hotel and later at Rolls‑Royce in visitor management (very fancy, but I promise I’m not). Now I work in sales while studying online.

So yes, I have plenty of experience with guests and customers — I genuinely enjoy people — but I’m also super comfortable getting my hands dirty. Give me a farm, a garden, tools, plants, or outdoor tasks, and I’m happy. I’d love to learn more about building things, gardening, planting, and keeping a property running smoothly.

One fun thing about me: I believe every skill is useful in life. Because of that, I’m always excited to pick up something new and add it to my “skill arsenal,” no matter how random or unexpected it is.

Overall, I’m adaptable, curious, and a fast learner. After working in so many different environments, I feel like I’ve developed a few chameleon‑like abilities: I can blend in, adjust quickly, and get along with almost anyone. I’m willing to try pretty much anything and learn whatever I need to do it well.
