Hello, my name is Marie, I'm 23 years old and would like to go travelling this summer. I'm an open-minded, joyful, calm and reliable person that enjoys good and long conversations. I enjoy the outdoors a lot and love activities like hiking, biking or swimming. Music and books are also great interests of mine – I play the cello and am a member of a choir. I finished my bachelor's degree in environmental engineering this year and will start to study psychology this autumn.

After finishing high school I worked as an au pair for 8 months in Lausanne, Switzerland. From that experience I learnt taking care of children (ages 6-12) and being responsible for various household tasks like preparing meals for the family, doing laundry and cleaning. I also have some experience in babysitting younger children aged 4-6 years.
Apart from that I'm interested in gardening. I have done two workaways last year in Denmark and Colombia where I was helping out in vegetable gardens on small farms which I enjoyed a lot. I'm eager to learn more about gardening and plant care.
I also like to teach languages and have gained some experience in this from a previous workaway in Guatemala and from volunteering in my hometown as well as working as a private tutor.
