Hi! My name is Mallory Aromando, I am a film student living in New York City, and I am 20 years old. Growing up in a small surf town on the southern coast of Maine, I have forged a profound connection to the ocean, and the life that inhabits it. Fueled by this connection, I've become a staunch advocate for sustainability. From reducing single-use plastics to supporting local eco-friendly initiatives, I'm committed to making a positive impact wherever I go. In addition to my love for the ocean and sustainability, I'm also deeply passionate about filmmaking. I seek to capture the raw, unfiltered essence of nature. My skills include cooking, cleaning, garden/farm work, tutoring, videography, general maintenance and other household needs. I have been working at my family business my whole life, as well as working in restaurants since I was 14. also have experience in environmental conservation, participating in numerous beach clean-ups, tree planting initiatives, and advocating for an increase in sustainable practices in my home town of Ogunquit, Maine. I'm well-versed in sustainable living practices, from composting and water conservation to promoting renewable energy and zero-waste lifestyles.
