Hi! My name is Madi and I absolutely love to travel! I love to help others, experience other cultures, and learn as much as I can! I've traveled quite a bit (50+ countries), but look forward to traveling more! My hobbies consist of reading, spending time with friends and family, watching basketball, volunteering, and more! People would describe me as a kind, passionate, hard-working, and outgoing. I love to have fun and go on adventures! I've been skydiving, scuba diving, hiking up volcanoes, and I love every bit of it! I look forward to all of the new adventures workaway has to offer.

I just left my job as a real estate agent in Texas to be a travel group leader in Vietnam. I’ve done that for about 6 months and am ready to do some solo traveling prior to going back to school. But prior to that I coached tennis to people ages 3 to 75 and it was one of my favorite things to do. I also nannied the little boy from age 3 to 5! I love working and learning new things! I graduated with a bachelors in psychology in early 2023 and I am starting a masters in sustainable business management in Ireland in September! I currently am the CEO of my own startup company which I hope to develop throughout my masters program!
I haven’t done any workaway trips yet but I do have extensive volunteer experience. I volunteered at an orphanage for disabled children in Guatemala, with refugees in Dallas, Texas (my hometown), and spent 2 weeks in the Amazon rainforest volunteering with local tribes. Plus much more. I love volunteering and being able to contribute to the societies I get to be a part of.

I’m an avid adventure traveler and have been to 50+ counties and 42/50 of the states in the US. I love meeting new people, learning about new cultures, and becoming a better person throughout my travels. I’ve lived in Italy for 6 months studying abroad. I lived and worked in Vietnam for 6 months. I have a deep passion for travel and everything it entails and look forward to much more of it. My life goal is to get to all 50 states and 7 continents. Unrealistically I’d like to get to all 195 countries as well but that goals a bit harder!
Other facts about me: I love to play sports and watch the NBA. I love spending time with my friends and nice nights in with home cooked meals and a glass of wine. I love board games a charity work. I love thrift shopping and the gym. I love classical music and songwriting. And so much more.
