I am a traveler from Pennsylvania, United States, and am enjoying a year of travel through Mexico, Central America, and South America, beginning in Mexico! I have a degree in Environmental Biology, but after three years of not working in that field I am taking this time to refocus on things I am passionate about and value.

Learning and staying curious are my main motivations, and I especially have interest in learning about conservation, sustainability, tourism and ecotourism, culture, and different ways of navigating life. Overall, I am striving to combine my love for travel, interest in mutual aid and community, and desire to learn and be challenged in order to have meaningful, fun, and helpful Workaway experiences!

I have experience in food service and hospitality, customer service, software, and environmental biology/natural science, so I could be helpful in a variety of customer service, operations, and scientific/nature focused tasks. I am also very eager to develop new skills and try new things.

I look forward to finding the right Workaway experiences for both of us, and I am happy to set up a call beforehand to make sure it will be a good fit!

Cleaning and household chores: Although I have never formally worked in cleaning or housekeeping, one of my guilty pleasures and skills is putting my head down, getting to work, and getting things clean and organized.

Customer service and food service: I have worked in a few restaurants and ice cream shops, as well as at reception front desks and in customer support at a software company. I enjoy helping people solve problems and feel comfortable and supported in their surroundings.

Environmental science: I have a degree in Environmental Biology, so I can lend knowledge, as well as train quickly, on scientific and nature focused work. As a side effect of working in nature, I am very comfortable getting outside and getting dirty to accomplish other tasks, whether it be gathering data, taking care of plants, or accomplishing a DIY project.
