I'm currently wrapping up 3 years in London and planning the first phase of this excursion. I'd love to spend some time in the south of France or Spain and improve my language skills!

Hi, I'm Lucas

I'm from the US and I've been living in London for the last three years. After a long period of city life, I can't wait to spend more time outdoors reconnecting with natural spaces. I'll be traveling through Europe for the first half of the year before moving back home to New Mexico and I'm looking forward to spending that time contributing to meaningful work and learning new skills.

After years in a busy city, I really miss being in nature, doing physical work, and living closer to the land. I love being outdoors and I'm excited to learn more about farming, gardening, and sustainable living as I'd love to incorporate these skills into my lifestyle at home.

When I'm not working, I'm usually listening to music, playing guitar, going to concerts, reading, hiking, or catching up with friends. I love traveling, especially for the local cuisine—I love food. I'm an easygoing and respectful person and I'm excited to learn from the people I stay with while making a positive contribution. I’m excited for this time to travel, learn, and experience something different!

I’m comfortable with all sorts of hands-on, physical work and have picked up a lot of practical skills over the years. I've done plenty of woodworking in the past, both big and small projects. I've made cutting boards, skate ramps, I even built my own camper trailer (check out my photos). I can work with power tools, I also have experience with painting houses, landscaping, and general maintenance.

I’ve had some experience working on farms in the past and enjoy being around animals, helping with daily tasks and general upkeep. I’m reliable, hard-working, and can work independently or as part of a team. I'm a quick learner and I take pride in doing quality work. I’m always happy to help out wherever I’m needed!
