Moin, I'm Lilli. Since two years I've been studying biology in a small town in the middle of Germany. Last year was extremely stressful for me, therefore I wish to get out of my daily life before writing my Bachelor thesis, spend a lot of time outdoors and seize the opportunity of a workaway to meet other people.

I grew up in a nature and animal loving family, that's why being outside, going hiking, skiing or biking is very important to me. In my childhood already I loved to roam through the forests to search for all kinds of animals. :)

I am an open minded, positive and curious person and interested in meeting new people and learning from each other. I love photography, music (especially playing the clarinet:) ) and wish to expand my knowledge about all kinds of sustainable projects, farming, gardening and just experience life and share ideas.

More details about my language interests
I speak German and French (I lived in France for several months), so if you could need my skills I would love to help with these two languages. I understand mostly everything in English, but I really hope to improve my speaking skills because after school I didn't get a lot of practice. :) I'm currently taking an English class at my university in order to improve my capabilities before a possible workaway.

In my gap year I volunteered at a nature conservation organization for protecting the wadden sea. The scope of my tasks ranged from control trips along the Wadden Sea National Park to various monitoring activities and guided tours for tourists through the different habitats of the Unesco World Heritage Site. During that time I lived together with three other volunteers in an old house with a big garden, where we had chicken, a little bed with vegetables and several fruit trees. So I have some basic gardening and manual skills that I really want to improve.

I like cooking and baking vegetarian and vegan food, enjoy taking care of animals and aspire to learn more about the way other people see the world.
