My name is Leticia and I am 18 years old. I have always been a very curious person. I am seeking for new experiences and challenges all the time. Travelling is an opportunity to learn about cultures and places but also to learn about myself. It makes me happy to see how things work differently all over the world and still to find so many similarities. I can't wait to meet new people and make new memories!

I love learning languages and speaking them. It feels like extending my horizon. Already in school I focused on learning languages and now my enthusiasm and curiosity for languages is one of the main reasons why I want to go abroad and take part in workaway.

I graduated from high school (Abitur) in the summer of 2023 and additionally received my IB diploma. I acquired a good level of English at school, especially by taking IB courses. I can also speak French, but here my skills are so far only sufficient for basic communication.

I am more of an extrovert person. I like talking to people, getting to know them, laughing with them, giving them advice and being an open ear. I also like to teach other people things. At school I acquired knowledge in a wide range of subjects. Since I had the luck to understand many contexts, I could explain one or the other subject matter again to friends of mine during school time.

I love to get involved. At school and outside, I have organised many events or provided my help. For example, I was the main organiser or co-organiser of our prom, our prom funding party and other smaller events that helped fund our prom. In doing so, I have gained a lot of experience ranging from creating cost plans and finding compromises to conducting surveys and dealing with legalities. It also helped me understand what it feels like to carry a bigger responsibility.

I also like to take care of children. Through the church, I helped to look after a second grade class once a week for a year and I also went to holiday camps as a helper. I also have younger cousins with whom I often spend time.

I have always loved planning birthday parties or smaller celebrations. The same goes for trips and excursions. That's how I learned to be more independent at an early age.

I have worked in a restaurant a few days a month for almost two years, so I already have some skills when it comes to waitressing.

Some other skills of mine are that I can play the violin, drive a car, deal with technical devices, create powerpoints, housekeep and clean.
