Hey, I'm Leo! And I for sure have that travel bug.

I've grown up in the UK countryside, spending my holidays as a kid helping out on family farms, working with horses in stableyards and growing fruit and vegetables. Being outside is what makes me tick, whether that's exercising or spending time with animals. I've grown up owning dogs, horses and chickens and am a competent rider and stablehand. I've also done a couple of lambing seasons, so have some experience with sheep. I don't mind getting my hands dirty and working hard, and am happy to help with heavy lifting and some construction work.

I am currently studying Biochemistry at university where I am also learning German for a year. When I'm not studying I really enjoy cooking, especially with fruit and veg that I have grown myself. I particularly like cooking Italian food, from focaccia to risottos to panettone and am currently experimenting with Japanese food such as homemade sushi and gyozas.

To work up an appetite for this food, I'm a huge fan of rock climbing so you will usually find me in the gym, projecting a new route or strength training. I also cycled from the UK through France, Belgium and the Netherlands this Summer! I can't wait to meet some really interesting people and see some stunning landscapes.

I hope to improve my language skillset and exchange hobbies and recipes with the people I meet- I play piano, guitar and saxophone so will happily play music with anyone. I am really looking forward learning about different cultures and meeting amazing people

Much of my skillset is shaped by my rural upbringing. As per my profile, I have grown up with dogs, horses, chickens and helped out during lambing season on relative's farms. I have been riding since I was 8 years old and have owned 4 horses, in addition to working with horses at local stableyards and racecourses, so am well equipped to help out with any equine pets. I really enjoy working with animals, especially dogs!

I play a lot of sports, especially tennis, football and climbing, so am really active and happy to help with heavy lifting and any construction. I used to work as a gardener, doing lots of tasks from mowing lawns, growing vegetables and everything in between.

I have also worked in a hostel, doing basic cooking - keeping to food hygiene standards - and housekeeping tasks such as deep cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms between guests. I love to cook in my free time, especially vegetarian and vegan food that I can share with my friends.

I also really enjoy learning new skills. I love to play music and jam out with my friends. I currently play piano, guitar and saxophone and am learning the drums. I'm a hard worker, and happy to pick up any new skills.
