Hello to all! My name is Lenny, I'm 23 and I'm from Richmond, Virginia. I recently graduated from Bennington College in southern Vermont, where I studied filmmaking and media theory, with a minor in drawing. After finishing school, I am hoping to do a few months of solo travel in Europe and participate in workaways for the first time!

I'm an artistic person and enjoy spending time by myself, writing, reading, drawing, and documenting, but I’m looking forward to opening myself up to totally new experiences. I’m an open-minded and tough person with a good work ethic and can do hard jobs.

I've had a large variety of different odd jobs including: hostessing and waitressing in restaurants, working in movie theaters and film archives, prepping bread dough and delivering fresh loaves to local shops, and most recently, working as a camp counselor and art teacher at an all girls summer camp in Maine.

I love exploring nature with my friends (I've attached some photos of the beautiful scenery in Vermont). I want to get hands on experience in farming and looking after animals. I'm motivated by creative projects and I really enjoy problem solving. If you have any questions please reach out!

I don't have much farming experience, but I'm a fast learner and don't mind getting my hands dirty.

I have experience in childcare and animal care. My education was focused in the arts, I'm good at creative problem-solving and would love to lend a hand in any painting or construction projects. My dad is a hobby carpenter and I've picked up on the basics from him.

Lenny was a wonderful workawayer who helped in the garden weeding and clearing rubble and lovingly making an area ready for landscaping work. My time with Ursula was amazing, and I already miss being in Ballyferriter! I was there around 10 days from mid to late September, and I wish I could've stayed longer. I think fate had a hand in Lenny arriving just in time for Electric Picnic. While I was away she painted walls, stair skirting, two doors and a radiator as well as keeping the house clean and tidy and looking after and walking the dog.
