I`m Lena, I've studied atmospheric science in Innsbruck (Austria) and now I am going to take a year off for traveling in South America and Norway. During my studies I also worked in winter as a ski instrucor and in summer as a kayak instructor. In my free time I love to kayak, climb, hike, swim, skitour and do canyoning. Besides that I spend lots of time working for the volunteer waterrescue organisation in Austria, especially in the whitewatersection. About me: I'm always in for all kind of adventures and push my limits. I laugh a lot, maybe sometimes a bit too much ;) I love to discover new places, new cultures, get new experiences and also enjoy beutiful nature.

During my time in South America, I plan to learn surfing, work at a surf school, go hiking, kayaking and climbing. And also maybe find someone to join sailing to Antarctica. But my main plan is to not have too much of a plan and see where I end up :)

For the last couple of years I worked as a ski and kayak instructor. I love working with people and escpiaclly to teach them. Showing them the things I am passionate about and seeing them experience and devolping in the things I do is what I love most about these jobs. For the past 4 years I am a active member of the NGO waterrescue organisation in Innsbruck and for the past 2 years I am the referee for whitewater there, which means I also have experice in organising.
