Hello, my name is Lena and I´m 20 years old. I finished school and am currently taking some time travelling, before studying. Last year I have traveled Portugal for 7 months. During that time I have volunteered in three different guesthouses. This year I have already been to quite a few different places (Fuerteventura, Morocco, Portugal, Spain). Now I am searching for a new place to volunteer. I am eager to learn about new cultures, languages and meeting new people, whilst exploring new things about myself and the world.
At the end of the year I am going to start studying Nature conservation and landscape planning, which comes from my love for nature. Therefore I would love to take part in a farming, conservation or permaculture project, to already learn some new interesting things.

I have working experience from volunteering at a refugee shelter, which included preparing meals, cleaning and taking care of the peoples needs. I've also worked in a supermarket. I have volunteered through Workaway in three different guesthouses. The tasks included a lot of cleaning, changing beds, doing check ins and check outs. I also took the manager position in one of the guesthouses for one month, so I have the knowledge on how to manage and organize a place like this. I can provide good cooking skills and a very reliable personality. I am a fast and open learner.
