We love to adventure and explore new places to learn new skills, ways of life and connect with others. We have both been working in New Zealand, where we were born and raised, so looking for a new adventure. We like to spend out time off going for adventures in the outdoors, making things (table, pottery etc) and connecting with friends and family.

Having both spent a few years of our childhood in different places (Hong Kong and Egypt), we have felt the value of travel bringing connection and new experiences. We are doing a working holiday this year in Norway and are excited for all that will bring.

Lauren: I work as a Data Scientist, with an undergrad in Engineering, I have a strong ability with numbers, problem solving, coding, general software and a high attention to detail. Growing up I did a lot of gardening and bits of DIY, playing football and sailing, anything outdoors and using my hands. I also recently completed my 200h YTT, driven by my love for yoga and meditation and started making pottery.

Islam: I have a degree in psychology and creative writing as well as being a qualified carpenter in NZ. I like to work with my hands and I enjoy creating things. I work well with others and am quick to pick up new things.
