Hello there! My hobbies include hiking, sewing, and crocheting. Growing up in a multicultural home, I am no stranger to new experiences, foods, and travel. New encounters never cease to intrigue and excite me. I believe that traveling and working through this site will fulfill many personal goals for me: acquiring new skills, going with the flow, and meeting new people with experiences far different from my own. I have some experience in gardening as well as home renovation (painting, sanding, power washing, nail gun, paint stripping, etc.)

I grew up in southern Missouri with exposure to rural life, but unfortunately have limited experience with livestock other than chickens and cows. I am, however, chomping at the bit to learn more.

I have been surrounded by and participated in the arts my whole life. I sang in the church choir for 7 years and played Viola in school for 8 years. In high school, I participated in speech and debate, theatre, and orchestra. I am a playful person who deeply appreciates music and art.

Missouri, where I was raised, is a deeply religious/Christian area. I grew up in the Episcopal Church where I was very actively involved. While I would not consider myself terribly spiritual, I am very open to the teachings and followers of every religion.

I stayed with this colorful family for two and a half weeks. It really was a pleasure to spend time with their son. He is an inquisitive and kind little boy that had me giggling frequently.
