Description
Since leaving my environmental policy career in 2018 at the age of 56, I've had the good fortune to participate in numerous volunteer and service-oriented experiences. These include two stints with the U.S. Peace Corps (Gambia and Philippines), three winters working at Capitol Reef National Park in Utah, and an AmeriCorps position with a small conservation organization in my hometown (since 2022) of Paonia, CO. I love exploring new territory and communities, especially on foot and bicycle, and look for opportunities to volunteer outside of the United States so I can immerse in new cultures as well. I am a quick learner and generally quite flexible and adaptable to most situations. Integrity and communication are on the short list of values most important to me.

I love cooking and have some catering/restaurant experience. I enjoy gardening, lawncare, and outdoor chores. I have been a homeowner for years and like to keep things tidy, uncluttered and in good order. I am organized and detail oriented, and great with people.
