Description

I'm a doctor who loves to travel and experience new cultures. Meeting new people is a big part of what gives me meaning and and forming lasting connections is something I hope to do along my travels along with giving back in the small ways that I can!

I love the outdoors and finding a little slice of peace in a busy world. I was raised by a botanist and have a keen interest in nature and wildlife. Most of my childhood was spent gardening and so any ability to get involved in gardening would be greatly appreciated! I love animals of all kinds but in particular dogs and cattle.

I am a big fan of the arts. I have learned Carnatic (classical Sri Lankan and Indian) singing and 3 instruments for over a decade and am a keen writer of music of multiple genres (hoping to put an album out some day).

I deeply resonate with the beauty of language and have published a book of poetry.

Spirituality forms a big part of my life - I meditate daily and hope to learn from something bigger than myself.

My grandfather was a botanist and I went to an agricultural high school so grew up gardening and have some experience with livestock.

My English language skills are excellent (published author) and I can play multiple instruments and sing quite well.

I am very fit and able and willing to get involved in physical labour.
Most of my skills are medical related as I am a doctor. However, I'm a quick learner and keen to push myself out of my comfort zone.

I'm great with kids and adapting as needed.
