Description
hey :)
I’m Karo and I am currently studying Social Work in Berlin and I love seeing a little more of the world whenever I can. I’m open-minded, curious, and enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories, and discovering new places.
I love summer, swimming, hiking, and cycling, and spending time in nature in general. Volunteering in Tanzania made me even more excited about traveling, learning about different cultures, trying delicious food, and getting to know inspiring people from all over the world. I’m especially happy about spontaneous adventures and unexpected experiences along the way.
I’m curious about learning new languages and I really enjoy supporting projects and helping wherever I’m needed. I’m simply looking forward to it all! 🌞

More details about your skills
I really enjoy working with children and young people and have gained a lot of experience in this area over the years. During my volunteer service in Tanzania, I worked closely with kids and teenagers, which was a very meaningful experience for me. I’ve also been babysitting for many years, and my studies in Social Work build naturally on this background.
I’m very interested in intercultural exchange and communication, both through my studies and out of personal motivation. Languages play a big role for me: I speak German, English, and Swahili, and I’d love to improve my French and Spanish and especially start learning Arabic.
Besides social work, I also enjoy hands-on and practical tasks. I like working in the garden, helping with manual or creative projects, and supporting different kinds of project work. I enjoy planning and organizing things together with others and being part of a team.
