  • Description

I am on a mission to learn the craft of and to experience different ways of farming. Since May of this year, I have been working between two small vegetable production farms in Maryland, USA. It has been the most rewarding work I have ever had the privilege to be a part of. I have found great purpose in forging a strong sense of community between farmers and the people we feed. Not only are these connections special to me, but also the bonds that are shared between the team of workers that I am a part of has meant so much to me. I am happy and energized to wake up each morning knowing that I'm going to work with wonderful people who share a similar mission and love for nature. Farming, whether vegetable production, livestock, herbal, flower, etc., profoundly speaks to me as a lifestyle that I want to immerse myself in. It is my dream to own my own farm one day that centers around building soil health, growing/raising highly nutritious food, and creating a strong and resilient community of people.

It is my goal to take the time to build my skillset while also travelling to different parts of the world. The opportunity to learn from others across the globe and make new connections with people is incredibly exciting to me. I have not travelled much up until this point in my life, and I feel a deep calling to explore and experience other ways of life. I would not wish to do it any other way than by also growing my knowledge as a farmer.
