Hi everyone

My name is Jozsef Halmen, but everyone calls me Jozso and I live in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, the second biggest city in Romania, a vibrant student city.

I finished film studies at Sapientia University in Cluj, but I work now mainly in the music industry.
We have a company which organizes live concerts, parties in several cities in Romania and Hungary. We are organizing tours for underground bands, we are also doing bookings for several festivals and we have our own little festival, called Mumush festival, where I am the musical coordinator.

I am really passionate about live music and electronic music. When I have free time I am also producing my own music and release it, and I am also a guitar player and I am dj-ing also.
For 10 years I was playing in a funky touring band as a guitar player and songwriter.

Sometimes I also work in the video industry as a video editor or sound designer.
So I love everything that involves creativity and I love to meet new people and make new friends.

I decided to join workaway because I decided to start to travel more a bit, and want to learn languages, exchange culture and learn from new experiences.

I dont have a lot of experience in handy work (gardening, carpenter work etc.), but I am really opened and I want to learn new things.

I have more than 10 years of experience in event and festival organizing.
We have our own company, called Stairway Booking, and we organized more than 400 live concerts around Romania and Hungary. We have worked with a lot of bands in different styles.
I have very good networking skills, I am very social and like to talk and meet new people.
I am also a guitar player and a music producer. In my free time I produce my own compositions.
I have also a lot of experience in Video editing and sound design. I worked as video editor as well for several companies and on freelancer websites.
