Description
I am a recent graduate, and have spent a lot of time at my books - I loved it, but would like to see more of the world, and spend some more time in nature and outdoors. I was home-educated for most of my childhood, and we used to spend a lot of time on community farms meeting people WOOOFing and helping out with projects - they were really happy times, and whilst I put off trying to find a career, I'd really like to throw myself into something similar.

I've worked in a local cafe for a few years, opening and shutting up shop for the owner, keeping things clean, and making food and drinks, so I'm comfortable with this kind of work. I've also worked for a year as a Teaching Assistant in an SEND department, so I'm DBS checked and happy to be around kids. I like spending time in nature - I go camping a lot each year, partly on community owned farms nearby, where we help with projects like building compost toilets, maintaining the water systems, and scything grass. I was home-educated as a child, and spent time on organic farms learning to weave willow, grow mushrooms, harvest potatoes etc. I enjoy whittling, reading and playing guitar in my spare time.

I am a keen music maker - my dad is a music teacher, and I have been playing since I was very small, so can play a variety of instruments. Recently I have also been writing my own songs, and I love to play with other people. I enjoy things like whittling and reading in my spare time, and also making art, particularly linocuts. At university we had a dark-room, and I became interested in developing film and pinhole photography.
