I'm interested in people, projects and communities that are taking care of our planet and tackling the climate crisis and global inequality.
I've spent the last 3 years living in Liverpool working for a charity which works with refugees. I also volunteer at the Tool Library, an organisation in my neighbourhood which aims to build community solidarity by sharing tools and knowledge relating to DIY. Previous to this I lived in Edinburgh where I worked for a charity tackling homelessness and food insecurity, mainly through running foodbanks and a nightly soup van.
Music is my main hobby and occupation outside of work - I play trumpet in a few bands round town and record albums with friends.

I have decent DIY skills having worked as a painter/decorator/general handyman at various points over the years. I feel confident using tools and building things, and am a fast learner. I'm not afraid to get stuck in to a project, and having lived most of my life in Scotland and Northern England I am used to being cold and wet!!

I have worked in a number of different roles over the years including office administration, logistical management, painting & deocrating, trumpet teaching, bartending and large scale cooking for community meals.

I have a UK driving license and experience driving vans.
