I recently graduated from a University in the states and I'm excited to learn valuable knowledge volunteering abroad and/or within the states.

I currently work as a veterinary assistant and a bakery clerk in my hometown. I plan on applying to veterinary schools in the near future and would like to have the opportunity to get hands on experience as well as gain more knowledge in all aspects of animal caretaking. My dream is to become an exotic veterinarian so I am always eager to learn and take part that contributes to an animals health and well-being.

I love to travel to discover new adventures, learn about different cultures, and challenge myself. When I travel, I enjoy going to museums, going on history/ghost tours, and exploring all aspects of nature.

Throughout my career I have acquired a multitude of skills that I believe would make me a valuable volunteer member. I have worked and volunteered at a variety of customer services jobs, which allowed me to gain the necessary skills needed in any position such as communication, problem solving, empathy, and adaptability.

I have worked and volunteered at a couple different farms, volunteered at a wildlife sanctuary, and have shadowed and worked at a few different veterinary clinics. Experience at this wide variety of locations has given me the opportunity to learn many critical skills such as animal handling, recognizing livestock health, communication, and emergency preparedness. In addition, I absolutely love to learn new skills and would be extremely committed to learning all that I can during my time volunteering.
