Being in sunlight, learning new skills or receiving more information on passions of mine including homesteading, gardening, and foraging/native plant identification - these are all things that I've discovered bring me joy. I enjoy helping others , but I love even more to build community with those that value and protect the earth and its creatures while doing it. Exploring these different opportunities that individuals or groups have created to fight against poverty and food insecurity in their area or individuals looking to teach trades through assistant positions and many more motivates me to continue choosing to develop my most authentic self so I can find my own goal/mission that connects my love of nature with other authentic , kind, honest folks.

I'm pretty new to workaway but I joined WWOOF in hopes of gaining some reviews and experience so as to encourage other hosts but I was unable to find quite the place or experience that fits. I have experience around livestock and am a careful and steel toe shoe equipped worker. Hauling heavy 50+ pound things is not my strong suit due to my size but I am an avid lover of garden work in general as well as the preserving/canning of fruits, veg, herbs. Never processed an animal but I am ready to learn (in a productive but not too eager in a psycho murderery way). Nimble fingers, strong arms and legs but no hulk here lol.
