Hi!! I'm so excited to start traveling with workaway, I've known about this platform for years and always wanted to do it but never really been in a place in my life where I actually could.

I would be really interested in staying and working on animal sanctuaries, small eco farms, or other sustainable projects. I love and really respect animals and nature and love being outdoors in general. I also have some experience working with animals, and small maintenance and gardening projects, but I'm interested in learning some random new skills on a workaway as well. In general, I love any adventure! And I want to see as much of any place that I visit as I can. Ooh and I really like sports!! I currently play rugby and do strength training at the gym, but I would also love to learn new sports/adventurous hobbies, like learn how to surf or climb for instance. My other hobbies include taking care of my horse that I adopted from a sanctuary 7,5 years ago, playing guitar and bass, music in general, and painting/other creative stuff.

I'm 23 years old, i finished my bachelor's in sustainability science at Utrecht University last year (feb 2025) and started working as a sustainability consultant after that. However, I maybe want to start studying again this year or next year, and before that I'd love to do some traveling.

Sooo yeah I hope to get to know some lovely people, animals, projects, places and just gain some wonderful experiences!

I like everything with animals and outdoors and I have experience with lots of tasks in this sense. I'm experienced with horses, dogs, cats, and other animals. I adopted a horse from a kind of sanctuary/shelter about 6 years ago, and have taken care of other horses a few years before that as well. I'm very experienced with all general maintenance tasks around a (horse) farm, or, as we have for our horses, a paddock paradise-like little plot of land. I'm also used to fixing small stuff around the paddock and shed myself, such as broken fence or feeders for the horses. I also have some experience giving general care and special care (eg medicine) to animals since I've had pets around my whole life. I also have some experience in gardening-like tasks and planting stuff for example.
