Currently volunteering on a farm in Nepal. Looking for Workaway opportunities in Himachal Pradesh in June and Vietnam in July.

Description

Hi! We are from the UK and have taken a year out from our jobs in Manchester to travel. We have been travelling in India since January and arrived in Nepal at the end of March, where we are currently doing a Workaway on a farm. This has been a great experience and we have learn a lot about local farming techniques. We are heading back into India in June so are looking for opportunities in Himachal Pradesh.

Pearl has a background in charity work, and Jasmine works as a building services engineer back at home. We both enjoy outdoor activities, such as cycling, hiking and bird watching, and spending time in nature.

Jasmine has previously done workaways in Mexico and Costa Rica, where she worked at a dog sanctuary, permaculture farm and a hostel. We would both be interested in helping out on a farm, with community services, construction or whatever way is most helpful. We would love to experience local culture and food, and give something back to the community.

We are both motivated, hard working and enthusiastic, and have a passion for sustainability, animals and nature. We both love trying new food and that has been one of favourite things about our trip so far.

Jasmine is good with technology so would be able to help with computer/internet issues, as well as manual labor such as building and gardening/farm work. She has some gardening and basic construction experience but is keen to learn more and improve and her skills. She also enjoys playing sports and anything outdoors.

Pearl has lots of experience in charity and community work, and enjoys cooking and the outdoors. She’s interested in farm work, gardening, helping with animals and community projects.
