I am Giulia, I'm 28 and I have decided to leave my job as an electrical engineer to dedicate myself to learning as much as I can about some topics that are very dear to me: permaculture, organic farming, living off grid, agroforestry techniques, animal care, green buildings.

My dream is to one day build a happy farm where my love for nature and sustainability can meet efficient technologies.

I have no previous experience in running a farm but I learn very quickly and I love doing manual work and being outdoors. This year I started to create a small vegetable garden trying to use the principles of syntrophic agriculture, I helped with the olive harvest, I like to do carpentry work, I have been making homemade cosmetics for a few years and I like to cook and I would like to learn all about fermenting and preserving the harvest, honey and cheese production. I really like animals and would love to learn how to take care of them on a farm.

I have been wanting to experience volunteering through this platform for a long time and I am really happy and excited to start this adventure. I hope to meet many new people and many inspiring stories!

At the moment, I have no particular skills in managing agroforestry projects or farms, but I would love to learn!

I learn fast and I am very motivated and proactive. I am a creative person and would like to contribute to artistic and social projects.

Before I moved to the city for my studies and work, I lived in the countryside and always enjoyed helping with all the house and garden maintenance work (carpentry work, painting the walls, small electrical work, tree pruning, gardening, olive harvesting, tomato and other summer vegetable preserves, jams, ...). I look forward to learning new techniques!

I really like music and singing. I discovered yoga a few years ago and it has become one of the activities I enjoy doing.

To conclude, I am an organized person and can support with tasks in the digital domain
