My name is Gijs, 25 years old, and I live in The Netherlands.
I love going on adventures and get to know the world!
Two years ago I graduated as an Artist Educator in Theatre at ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem (Netherlands). Since then I'm teaching theatre at schools to children of all ages. I also directed my own site specific theatre plays. My work and research is always about the connection between social ecology and theatre, based on experiencing the here and now and playing with the connections between people and their environment.
Music is my passion. I play trumpet, guitar and low whistle (Irish flute), and I work with a loopstation. Furthermore I am very interested in nature and ecological self-supporting ways of living. I would like to learn a lot of this subject!
