Hello! I am a 23yr old economics student from Australia :)
I left home in September 2021 and visited over 25 countries. It has been the most amazing, hectic, intense and unreal time of my whole life. I returned to Australia in 2024 to finish study, but I am incredibly excited to start workaway again next year.

Some of my favourite experiences include hitchhiking on sailboats in the Caribbean, meeting Syrian refugees in Iraq and running the Istanbul Marathon. I am the kind of traveler who looks for unique experiences. I want to get as far off the beaten track as possible and truly understand the local way of life.

For me, the best bits of travel are:
1) Making new friends
2) Seeing amazing nature and landscapes
3) Eating local food

I think Workaway is the perfect opportunity to make new memories, and I am so excited to get started.

I am extremely passionate about learning and teaching languages. I have experience as a middle school English teacher, and I am planning to study sociolinguistics as a masters' program. I am fluent in English and French, and I am learning both Turkish and Italian.

Although I am easygoing and can apply myself to any task, I am happiest when working outdoors and/or teaching children.

My experience with children includes:
-9 months in Martinique as a middle school language assistant, teaching English.
-2 years as a primary school sport coach in Australia, as a part-time job alongside my studies.

I have also spend a lot of time outdoors. Especially, I love long distance hiking and cycling
