Description

People who know me would describe me as adventurous, curious, and someone who makes others feel at ease. I love meeting new people but I also spend a lot of time wandering around the outdoors by myself. if I had to describe a perfect day it would include both time spent in nature and a meaningful conversation with a stranger. I've enjoyed my Workaway experiences for the hands-on work outside and the opportunity to meet some incredible people!

My interests are: travel, being outdoors, linguistics, early childhood education (Waldorf & Montessori) literature, poetry, playing piano, board games, philosophy, art, spirituality & meditation. I've worked as a teacher and also at a tech startup - roles that require you to learn quickly as you go, so I bring that spirit to my Workaway jobs!

After I left my job working in tech, my plan was to take a year sabbatical and travel. Along the way I ended up joining a preschool project in Dominican Republic, worked a few months to help them launch and develop their curriculum, and now I'm preparing to start the process again with my own nature-based preschool in SE Asia.

I enjoy yardwork, house cleaning, organizing, light IT support, childcare & learning activities, cooking, kombucha & kefir fermentation (always wanting to learn more about other types!)

I am really interested in learning more and acquiring skills that pertain to permaculture and biodynamic farming.
