Hi! I'm Esther. I graduated from high school in June 2023 and am taking a gap year before going to college in the fall 2024. I want to spend the next couple months traveling, learning about different cultures, and discovering myself along the way. I love exploring, hiking, running, and practicing meditation and yoga. I can be a bit introverted at first, but I open up quickly and love meeting new people.

My love for the planet and its people motivates me to always try to be a better person. I love building and creating relationships with people while finding opportunities to learn about new cultures and lifestyles. I also strive to be a steward of the Earth by living a plant-based and vegan lifestyle and connecting with nature, whether that be through hiking, skiing, gardening, or simply spending time outdoors.

I have experience in a variety of areas. I have experience in childcare from ages 0-14 and have watched kids for several days at a time. I have also cared for animals before--mostly dogs and cats. I grew up with a large garden and have some knowledge and experience in gardening. I enjoy cooking and baking vegan food.

I have work experience in babysitting, yard work, restaurants, teaching swim lessons, teaching cello lessons, and medical assisting at a clinic. I am a quick learner and love to gain new knowledge and skills! I am also a hard worker. I will happily help out wherever is needed during my stay. :)
