Description
Hi! My name is Elizabeth (although friends and family have known me as Pops for as long as I can remember!) I am from Hereford, a very small city in West England, which is beautiful, but not particularly exciting! I was lucky enough to spend the worst bits of the pandemic (Summer 2020) with some amazing hosts in France, and having had such a great time, I would love to do it again! I have just graduated from the University of Cambridge, and am looking to do a little bit of travelling in Sri Lanka before I start a job in April. I really want to learn more about meditation and yoga, so this would be something I would be really interested in learning more about!
This year I've been in Oman teaching English and have been teaching EASL to Koreans online. I've also done some maths and english teaching before I went to University, so I like to think that I'm good at teaching others, and really care about making it fun!
In my spare time, I'm very active, and love to explore, to play sports, to go on bike rides, to go to the beach (where possible) and I adore the hot weather! I also love cooking for people, and learning about other new ways of cooking!

I am very willing to turn my hand to a bit of anything and everything! I am happy to do teaching, housework, cleaning,, animal care, cooking and whatever else needs doing! I adore cooking and love animals so anything related to that is always welcome!!
In my first workaway, I helped to care for a duck farm, as well as doing some internal house painting. I've also done some child care, as well as caring for and exercising horses! I love the variety, and am very happy to do whatever the day throws at me!
I have had teacher training to help children learn English and Maths, so think I would be useful to help with language learning, or just generally being around children!
I am also good at pre-empting what needs doing, so very capable of keeping on top of things!Age
