At home

Description
I am a community organizer in the US and I am visiting family in Australia and New Zealand in August and September thanks to a 3 month sabbatical from work. I love getting my hands dirty and learning new skills - construction, language, recipes, you name it. Outside of getting to know my relatives I am hoping that my travels expose me to new ways of seeing the world, new perspectives on community, and new skills in caring for the world around me. Other things to know about me: I'm queer and trans (he/they pronouns please); I speak English, Spanish, Chinese and am studying Hungarian; I eat everything but goat cheese; and I am a morning person, typically out of bed by 6 or 7 am.
