  • Description

Hello everyone, it's very nice to meet you all! :)

I'm trying to live my life by two basic principles: doing as much good as I can and as little harm as possible. I have a passion for growth both professionally and personally, and strive to give my best and keep challenging myself. I'm also learning nonviolent/compassionate communication.

I aim to be an attentive, respectful Workawayer, and usually blend into the life of my hosts really fast. I am so appreciative of the trust and friendships that come from this incredible, enriching experience!

I love learning new things, and am super interested in self-sufficiency, permaculture, natural building, and alternative ways of living. I am very passionate about human rights, environmental protection, and animal welfare, and try to contribute to making our world a better place as much as I can. I love representing important causes and inspiring others, and my activism and volunteering experiences are amongst what I’m most proud of.

One of the things closest to my heart is animal rescue and rehabilitation, and I'm always working on expanding my konwledge and expertise.

I absolutely love workawaying and really getting to know places - I've done 2.5 years of workawaying in Austria, England, and Spain. I'm now working on combining volunteering with a digital nomad life, and work in comms/brand/marketing and as a translator/copywriter. My goal is to settle in the North of Spain and have my base there.

If you feel like we could do some magic together, feel free to reach out! :)

More details about my language interests
Learning languages and getting to know different cultures and ways of thinking through them has always been one of my biggest passions ever since I was a child and I've basically always worked with languages. I currently work as an English-Hungarian translator/copywriter and am looking for ways to practice and improve my Spanish. In return, I'm happy to teach you either Hungarian or English.

  • More details about your skills

Another Workawayer has once told me that I could pretty much do anything. :D For what I don't have experience with, I make up with a lot of enthusiasm, determination, and curiousity.

In general, I'm always appreciated for being able to hold a safe, accepting, and supportive space for other creatures, may they be human or non-human. :)

Animals - I am good with animals and can usually gain their trust quite fast. I was rescuing and rehabilitating cats and dogs for about 6 years. I have a dog training license and some practice, and have also completed a basic training for a Hungarian organization similar to RSPCA.

Children - I also enjoy the company of children very much and get along with them very well. I have done workaway with home educated children and it has been such great fun for all of us. I also used to attend schools and kindergartens with various dogs to teach children about responsible animal ownership in a fun and playful way.

Farmwork - I have plenty of experience working at farms, with horses and others animals, and around the house. I am fine with some physical work, plus I have worked a lot in shops, cafes and restaurants too. :)

Gardening - I have done some gardening and weeding (I actually love weeding with a passion), and growing food and medicine is something I'm really keen to learn about.

Cooking - I have stayed in a Buddhist Centre for 2,5 months, cooking vegetarian/vegan food for up to 70 people (up to 20 on my own), and it was amazing!

Marketing - I also have years of experience in marketing/copywriting in a corporate setting, and am great at project management and improving systems and workflows.

I am hard working and love to learn new things and interested in learning all kinds of skills.

  • What else ...

I've walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain (800 kms), which was an amazing experience that thought me a lot and changed everything for me. It's also proven for me how strong and determined I am.

I am a passionate hiker and wanderer, and love exploring my surroundings in my time off.
