Description
Hi!
My name is Jonas. I'm from Ipatinga — a nice (and quite hot!) city in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Since I left home over a decade ago, I’ve lived in a few towns and visited many amazing cities across our little planet.
Currently (but not for much longer), I’m living in São Carlos, in the interior of São Paulo state. I work as an educator at a 19th-century coffee farm that has been transformed into a museum. I studied History at university, and I’ve also taught it in schools.
In August, I’ll embark on my greatest adventure so far — starting a PhD in History at the University of California, Santa Cruz. But before that, I’m making a quick trip to Canada!
I’m a very friendly person and have had many great moments with friends, acquaintances, and even strangers. I love meeting new people, especially from other countries — cultural exchange is one of the richest parts of life, in my opinion.
I enjoy skateboarding, reading, playing guitar, football (just a bit), and discovering new places. But music is what I love most. I’ve been part of a few bands here in São Carlos, and I also enjoy writing and singing my own songs. If you want to check out my YouTube page, here’s the link:

To sum up, I’m easygoing, easy to please, and hard to unplease.
See you soon
