Hi, we are a family of 4 (kids 13 and 16) taking 6 months off of work/school to travel. Amber and Chris met overseas and have raised their kids abroad.. We work in international development and have lived in all over the world. We look forward to meeting new people and experiencing different cultures as a family.

Chris and Amber work in international development field. Chris is an engineer and specializes on water and climate change. Amber is public health specialist and works currently as a grant writer/editor.
Chris grew up on a farm and worked as a cabinet maker and has done extensive water/photovoltaic installations. Amber is skilled in cooking, writing, and early childhood education. She spent five years teaching English as a foreign language to children in Japan and Hungary.
