Hi,

My name is Cillian (pronounced Killian), I am from Ireland and I love to travel.

I am easy going, active, and sociable. I have lived and worked in many places, including Cork, Dublin, Edinburgh, Melbourne, Darwin, Boston, and Toronto.

I have worked as a Customer Success Manager and Account Manager for software startups and established software companies for 14 years.

I love sports. I play for my local teams in Rugby and Gaelic Football, and I try to play Golf. I am a volunteer coach with our local youth teams in Rugby and Gaelic Football and I coach children from 10 years to 17 years.

I have been to South East Asia many times and I love everywhere I have been.

I am currently taking a TEFL Qualification and I would love to return to South East Asia and volunteer at a school for 1-2 months.

I am also very keen to volunteer at a hostel/hotel for 1-2 months. My mother owned and operated a bed and breakfast for 20 years as I was growing up, so our home was always open to guests. I helped her with all aspects of the day to day running of the bed and breakfast.

I would love to find suitable placements in Thailand, and if they work out try to either extend them or return for an extended period. I have been to Thailand numerous times already, but I would like to experience living there and being part of a community.

I have volunteered at DSPCA animal shelter in Dublin, working mainly with dogs when they are first brought to the shelter.

I have worked as a Customer Success Account Manager for Software companies for 14 years.

I have worked in many industries including E-commerce, Financial Technology, and the Water and Waste Industry.

I have a lot of experience working directly with customers, providing support, gathering customer requirements and working on obtaining new business, and expanding within existing customers.

I am a native English speaker, and I am currently completing a TEFL course.

Prior to graduating from University, I worked in a number of hospitality roles, including bars, restaurants, kitchen staff, and assisting my mother in the running of her bed and breakfast.

I spent 2 summer breaks working on building sites as a general labourer while I was in university.

I volunteer as a sports coach with children from age 10-17 years in my local town.
